Who Am I?

I am not Jean Valjean.

I am Jon Lucas MSW, LISW-S

I’ve been in the mental health space for 13 years. Initially as a community organizer who organized campaigns to expand access to peer support services and Assertive Community Treatment Teams in Franklin County, OH. From there I moved into providing direct service provision of care to children and families in their homes and individual outpatient services to children and adolescents in office. I’ve been in private practice for 8 years in a group setting providing individual counseling, group counseling, couples counseling, clinical supervision and serving as the Clinical Director for the group I was with.

Now, I’m going out on my own to do things my way…in compliance with all rules and regulations of the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board of the State of Ohio, the Ohio Revised Code, a significant body of evidenced based practices, and adherence to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics.
